London-based Director of Photography, Melissa Byers, required a website to show her portfolio of high profile projects such as her work on Tim Burton's ‘Corpse Bride’. Her brief required a new logo design and an engaging web folio, easy to use, and to include high quality video clips that could be downloaded easily.

Given the new website would be central to Melissa’s business, the new identity design pushed the URL to the fore, thus becoming "Camerawoman Dot Com". Melissa had already been active in targeting and linking her existing site to specialist groups. And so, on the understanding that Search Engine Optimisation would be less of an issue, it was decided a 3D Flash website would be a more impressive complement to her work.

The framework and transitions of the site were built in a 3D application and brought into Flash where we integrated the rest of the site and video.

After some video editing and format conversions, the footage was compressed using flash 8 streaming technologies – ideal for the web, balancing fast download speeds with high quality video replay. On the back of this, Alight were commissioned to create an Interactive CD-ROM, plus all of her stationary.
