Tektroniks has over 10 years experience of product design, service and commissioning for the refrigeration industry, working with the UK’s major supermarkets and food manufacturers.

From a short-list of several agencies, Tektroniks chose to work with Alight. They liked our enthusiasm and 100% dedication to producing great work, coupled with our easy-going and friendly approach.

Beginning with a re-branding exercise, we injected new life into the old logo, crafting a new identity that represented the technical nature of the Tektronics product. This in turn, was incorporated into the new web site, where design and copy together, focussed on technical functionality. This was supported with new product photography, photographed at our in-house studio. The design was later integrated into a brochure and exhibition graphics.

And it didn’t stop there. At Alight, we understand that design and development should not be treated as two separate entities but are integral to the overall effectiveness and usability of any web-based and software development products. Tektroniks recognised this and asked us to design and develop a web based interface for their new refrigeration monitoring systems. This interface was a real-time Stats Manager and calculator for use in their refrigeration systems. The software read binary data over small packet bandwidths, enabling real-time data to be supplied to supermarkets regarding the status of their refrigeration products. The system further incorporated an alarm system and implemented a flash-powered graphical data analysis system which created a statistic history tool, ensuring ongoing and accurate monitoring of the equipment.
