Alight Creative Review Article and more..

It occurred to us this week that too often our blog focuses on the outside world and rarely on what’s going on, within the world of Alight. So much that you might think we’ve got something to hide or, worse still we’re really boring. So to dispel any myth that we’re an arcane secret society, that practice the black arts, we’ll be keeping you more regularly posted on what we’re up to.

Recently it’s all been about the students, as after all our students are the future. Last month Paul visited his old seat of learning, De Montfort University, to review their Art and Design Grad show as part of Creative Review Talent Spotters Series. It was great to see the article on Creative Review’s website, knowing the kind of exposure it would give the featured graduates’ work and needless to say the graduates were pretty chuffed about it too. The team has also grown. Chloe our Intern, who is currently studying Graphic Design at Nottingham Trent University, started last week and is already doing a great job. Expect to see some posts from Chloe, here on our Blog, about her experience of her first forays into the commercial aspects of working in a Design Agency.

Also based on Chloe’s performance, we’re looking into offering regular Internships throughout the year for students looking to specialise in design and copywriting, so watch this space.
