Aware Monitoring approached us after seeing some of our work online and then realised that we had done the new work for esendex, who one of their directors knew and is a client of ours. We got a glowing recommendation, they got in touch and, basically, asked us to help their site convert. We were glad to help!
We wanted to educate their visitors as to what it is they do, why they needed Awares services but we also wanted Aware to stand out, from the frankly dull and chaotic sites of their competitors. They were in luck - we do that really well!
We came up with strong, humorous and in a couple of cases “challenging” statements about the company, the services they deliver and especially the results of having or indeed not having their services - these were designed alongside some interesting looking visual devices that were aimed to hold the users attention and drive the points home.
These banners were set on a timer and also had flick through controls, which added a level of interactivity to the site making parts of it almost playful - the results were to be educational, entertaining and deliver longer time on the page. We also pruned the navigation to be far more focused and drive the user through all relevant content, and into the arms of the crafted price plan page or consistent calls to actions.
Another large part of our design support was in guiding and supporting the way the system designs were developed and showcased. Both we and Aware are very proud of their “backend” design, and so “showing it off” was a big deal (it's all gone “carry on” here and we are sorry ;)
We are delighted to report that Aware Monitoring were and still are delighted with the results. They are starting their new Internet Marketing campaign and we are already talking about the next phase of design with video.
