Edward Sloane is an entrepreneur with a family heritage firmly rooted in the furniture trade. Last year Edward had a vision of marketing stylish, good quality, home furnishings nationwide, via a super streamlined ecommerce site. So when he asked us to help him with making this vision a reality, we sensed there was a challenge ahead and couldn't wait to get started.
We worked closely with Edward to name and develop the brand. A simple but effective brand name which describes exactly what is at the heart of his business and evokes feelings of tradition, comfort, warmth and trust. But at the same time says we are modern, efficient and reliable.
As an experienced design agency, we've also used our wealth of experience to help Edward grow his brand rapidly in the past six months and made HomeLife a brand synonymous with quality, value and good service.
Naturally, to complement the development of the HomeLife brand we designed Edward a bespoke E-commerce site, built in up to the minute HTML5. We have an excellent working relationship with Edward and we're quick to respond to his needs and those
of his customers.
So it's only natural that with our UX expertise we've evolved the site and will continue to do so, as HomeLife goes from strength to strength.
Edward's always happy to take our advice on board and a few minor amendments we suggested early on massively increased his sales. We are more than a design agency.
HomeLife boasts a custom ecommerce system along with state of the art Alight CMS, featuring a powerful drag & drop tool for making easy amendments to their online range. HomeLife's stock control system has also been specifically tailored to their needs, allowing them to update and keep track of their stock, with no complications and as little work as is humanly possible.
We had the Home Life Direct site up and running within 5 weeks and Edward has since told us that it paid for itself within the first 4 weeks of going live. He was so impressed with our work that he's commissioned
another 2 sites, one of which is due to go live in the next 3 months.
With bespoke seasonal and holiday driven banners and backgrounds the HomeLife site stands above its competitors. A key reason for its success.

As simple as it might look HomeLife’s Single Page Checkout is cutting edge. Every single pixel is designed to reduce drop-off and drive the purchase as effortlessly as possible.

Hierarchy is key in the e-commerce process and the location and interaction between all elements is keenly discussed in advance of the design process.
